Bienvenidos al Campeonato panamericano de larga distancia ITU, Triatlón Piedra Roja CorpBanca 2012, a realizarse el domingo 21 de octubre.

- Laguna de Piedra Roja, Chicureo, Santiago de Chile.
- 8:00 hrs.
- US$ 10.000 a repartir entre los 5 primeros hombre y mujeres del campeonato de larga distancia.
- Domingo 21 de octubre, ¼ Hombre de Acero (950 mts – 45 – 10,5K) y Campeonato Panamericano de larga distancia ITU (1,9 – 90 – 21k), más relevos.

El campeonato panamericano es para los elite y categorías de edad, eso quiere decir que por ejemplo, el ganador de la categoría 20 a 24 años será el campeón panamericano de su categoría.

- US$ 10.000 to be shared among the first 5 men and women in the Long Distance Championship.
- Sunday October 21, ¼ Man of Steel (950 meters – 45 to 10.5 K) and Pan American Championships ITU long distance (1.9 – 90 – 21k), plus relays.

The Pan-American championship is for the Elite and Age-Group category, which means for example, that the winner in 20 to 24 years old category, will be the Panamerican Champion of his category.
